Welcome to The Den, Manhattan Park District’s before and after school program! The Den is a positive and exciting environment for your children to spend time with friends, work on homework, learn new games and activities, make art and science projects, and play!
The Den’s curriculum is rooted in engaging and encouraging growth through positive social interaction, physical movement and activity, and learning through play. The Den is open to all K-5th grade students in District 114 and begins at 7:00 am and ends at 6:00 pm.
The program takes place at the Hansen Community Center- The Market. Students from Wilson Creek and Anna McDonald will be bused to and from The Den through Lincoln-Way's transportation system.
A $30 registration fee per child is required at time of enrollment before July 31st, 2022. If after July 31st, 2022 a $ 50.00 registration fee per child is required.
Registration will take place entirely through the procare system (no more manual forms)
Early dismissal days will be offered for an additional $15.00 fee per child.
Holiday break camps are also available and will be held at the Hansen Community Center. We will have availability during Thanksgiving, Winter & Spring Break. Check out the enrollment information under camps: camp enrollment information
